Dr Umesh T is an Elite Neurologist in Hyderabad with extensive expertise in all aspects of neurology. He has more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in neurology. Prior to joining TX Hospitals, he worked as Consultant Neurologist at Wokhardt’s Kamineni Hospital; Consultant Neurologist at Mediciti Hospitals; Visiting Consultant Neurologist at Princess Durushewar Children’s and General Hospital; Consultant Neurologist at Owaisi Hospital and Research Centre and Consultant Neurologist at Yashoda Hospital.
Dr Umesh obtained postgraduate MD degree from Karnataka University. After completing a post-doctoral DM training in Neurology, he pursued and successfully completed DNB Neurology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Later he worked as a research fellow and published papers from the Neurology Department of Bombay Hospital.
Subsequently, he moved to South India and pioneered the establishment of a neurology department at a leading corporate hospital in Hyderabad. He has been a great professor for Neurology residents and also been a Professor for MRCP residents.
Dr Umesh is one among a very few neuro physicians in Hyderabad who possesses hands-on expertise in dealing with acute stroke, epilepsy and neuro-oncological and neurodegenerative diseases.
Dr Umesh has profound expertise in handling intricate neurological issues and even the rarest ones. He deals with such issues with utmost care, compassion and composure.
